An unforgettable staff celebration in May saw all colleagues gather for a memorable Thames River Cruise with guided tours, a summer BBQ and celebratory drinks. Our colleagues hard work, dedication and team spirit were recognised in driving our success over five decades.
Monaghans were also delighted to celebrate with our valued clients at a fantastic Client Drinks Celebration in October, hosted at one of our successfully completed projects the Libertine, below The Royal Exchange, an amazing space where historically the very first royal alcohol licence in Britain was granted!
Their most successful year in charitable support saw us raise over £6,000 for our 2025 chosen charity St Luke's - Sheffield's Hospice, and our sponsorship of their first annual Reindeer Run allowed St Luke’s to raise a further significant sum, through the involvement of 17 schools. In supporting the charity, they had many enjoyable events including charity walks which saw our Northern and Southern take part in 13K walks picking up local points of interest, bake days, quizzes, a charity golf day, various volunteering days and much more.
As well as welcoming over fifteen new colleagues, seeing six graduations, three successfully passed professional interviews and several long service milestones, another year of growth concluded with over 20 promotions in the business and their annual awards celebration recognising those colleagues who have excelled in displaying our core behaviours.
Projects wise, our continued diversification across multiple sectors positions us well to provide the strategic support to help their Clients succeed within their respective sectors, whilst also providing challenging and varied workload for their colleagues.
Last but not least, Monaghans 50th Anniversary will proudly be remembered for the transfer of the business into Employee Ownership, safeguarding their culture, values and legacy for the future.
