Two Planning Approvals in One Week!

Self Architects and their Clients are celebrating two planning approvals in the same week after lengthy determination processes.

The first, at Cresswell Road, is a development of 10 houses and mews in Darnall, Sheffield. This proposal makes use of a linear former builders storage site adjacent to Darnall Train Station, creating a new sustainable residential community and providing new housing choices for the area with a contemporary feel.

The second, West Park Palace, for Giroscope, was approved at Planning Committee. This project looks to repurpose a former cinema in Hull into a mixed-use community centre, including a new three storey wintergarden space, new business and enterprise rooms and opportunities for events and celebrations. This will secure the future of the building, which is currently unused and empty following a fire in 2023.
